We believe that those who want more from their life and their job – more than just a paycheck – do not look for a new position through ads. Values, a vision, the environment, relationships, company DNA and its identity – that will draw more people than a load of benefits. Nowadays it’s not enough to tell people what you do. Both your current and future colleagues are much more interested in the “how and why. People can choose – they can work in some company, or they can end up in a great company that is not afraid and talks about itself in an open and authentic way as it has got nothing to hide. On the contrary, it’s got a lot to show.
We create everything ourselves, based on a deep understanding of the workings of your company
We don‘t use shortcuts and we don‘t try to make our job easier. We depend on an individualized approach. We never work with texts you have on your own websites or which you would write yourselves. We always create brand new content which mirrors our external perspective and, at the same time, the insight we are able to gain through many hours of interviews with your employees. Each company profile is created based on many hours of getting to know your company, and that is why every profile is unique in its content.
Organic traffic brings better applicants
We don‘t buy our traffic. We use our social networks for sharing. The companies sharing their profiles and open job positions use the COCUMA content as we built it. We teach them to depend more on their employee‘s recommendations. What we sell you is not a portal with millions of visitors but a tool that will distinguish you among your competitors and present your company culture authentically in all adverts. Generation Z wants visual content and so our adverts are the most creative ones on the market.
We describe what we have found and what is important for applicants on the job market
Thanks to capturing your company culture authentically, the applicants know what is waiting for them, and they choose you based on how your work style and environment suits them. If it doesn‘t suit them, that‘s alright. We don‘t try to persuade them as it would not work anyway – they themselves best know what they expect from their new jobs. On the contrary, we believe that if someone decides not to start working for you after reading your profile, it is the best thing for both them and your company. We carefully choose which companies to present
Our concept is exclusive. It can be compared to the Michelin star in gastronomy. We cooperate with those companies we believe in – we believe their employees are important for them, we believe they are fair and ethical, we believe they offer meaningful jobs, not just an „occupation“. We promote these companies with enthusiasm, helping them shine.
We don‘t describe what you do or offer
We think that is an outdated approach and believe job hunting should work the other way around. It‘s not enough for the applicants when you bull-point your education and experience expectations and, in return, write down the provided benefits. Generation Z looks at work differently and we need to get accustomed to that.
We don‘t use your marketing texts or photos
HR marketing is also outdated. Empty office or American headquarters photos don‘t create interest. We have over 20 years of experience in recruitment, we follow trends and we know how to attract the right people a show them why it is a good idea to create their career future with you. We create all the details and put them together in such a way as to make up a plastic image of your company culture, firm environment and your atmosphere. We look for stories to tell them further.
We don‘t have hundreds of thousands of visitors. More applicants do not equal better results.
We‘re not interested in quantity, neither in arguments such as „we will deliver dozens of applicants“. That‘s just a way to overwhelm you. Our goal is quality. We don‘t embellish the truth, we don‘t whitewash anything
We don‘t create PR, adverts or the full-of-lies 20th century marketing. We don‘t even do employer branding anymore. We stand for a principle and trend of authenticity and truthfulness. We also call it The Employee Experience. We show companies and their environments the way they truly are. We use your employees for confirmation. We will get to know you deeply. But do not fear. We are patient, flexible and sensitive to both your people and environment.
We don‘t want to be the biggest job portal – volume is not our thing
Exit is not our goal, we don‘t want to compete with the biggest job portals. We also don‘t want to get big ASAP and sell our concept abroad. We chose a different path. We want to help great companies and provide space for those company cultures that deserve it. We want to create a unique community of smart people and firms that can meet and cooperate through us. We want to inspire the whole job market towards and change and give our know-how to companies that are worth it. We don‘t like the Gallup Survey results that say 8 out of 10 people don‘t enjoy their jobs. We are convinced that is because they see no meaning in their work and are not a part of a collective that vibes on the same frequencies. What‘s the base of our profiles and what can you expect?
We use our profile to present what your future colleagues will find in your company and, at the same time, we will tell them what they won¨t find there. We create all this based on a deep understanding of the inner workings of your workplace.
1. Firstly, we will get to know you through interviews
We will spend many hours interviewing your employees from multiple departments. We want to know your people‘s motivations, we want to know what they would say about their place of work in a bar at 2 am. We want to know the way you work, communicate, we want to find out what your owners are like. For that, we like to choose those who are picky, your ambassadors, hard workers and newcomers alike.
2. We come up with the vest ways to promote you – we create scenarios
In our profile, we want to show those who are visible – owners, team leader, recruiters, the best programmers, marketing enthusiasts, great business developers. To sum it up, we show the people who have a personal approach to the company and who can talk about it in detail. In the interviews we choose those places that are personally close to individual employees. Those are the things they like to talk about, the things they believe in. We use these parts to create the scenarios for personal portraits.
3. We shoot videos, take photos and collect visual material
You can call our style „Office Street Art“. We don‘t make unnatural photo shoots, we don‘t need your offices extra clean, we don‘t use just those with American smiles. We take photos of the everyday company life, of interactions and details – the books in your bookshelves, the concentration and debates, smiling teams and enthusiasts in the kitchenette. Shortly, we want to show your environment as it really is and create enough visual material for the whole year.
4. We build our profiles carefully and as best as we can
To describe your company, we use the in-depth interviews and the visual experiences we collected in our work. Some profiles are more visual, others are built more on textual material. Some are focused on values, others on work style. We try to make all companies distinguishable from their profile, not only visually but through the content itself. At the same time we make sure we are not repetitive or that we don‘t use cliches and meaningless words.
5. The profile is a product of cooperation – that is why we make the finishing touches together
All profiles are the results of our cooperation. We help us with photos and videos by being open and by sharing. We send you the first draft and after that we work together on individual paragraphs, photographs and the whole layout. We make sure both you and we are excited about the finished product. And, most importantly, that your colleagues are excited about it – that‘s when they want to share it and recommend further.
6. The publishing day is a certain kind of holiday

In phase one, right after publishing, we promote your companies on social networks and Petr Skondrojanis‘ LinkedIn profile with thousands of followers. We share your unique nature on the market and, through other activities, we build an even better company.

We don‘t try to save money by hiring students or beginning photographers. On the contrary, we choose those we believe in, those who believe in the COCUMA spirit and have enough expertise to understand what you stand for.

Before COCUMA, Janka had been writing articles she didn‘t have faith in. In COCUMA she found out she can meet people who truly enjoy their jobs, and that‘s what she loves. She researches companies together with Michal or Skondr, she creates content and takes care of their renewal.
Michal used to co-own a digital web agency but sustainability and raw lifestyle are his real passions. That‘s why he moved to Zlín with his wife where they run a package-free store. He joined COCUMA because he enjoy the truthfulness with which we present companies and the fact we choose them individually.

We choose a COCUMA community expert for a talk on an interesting topic, for example marketing or sales, every 2 weeks. We stream all talks with COCUMA companies so you can play it to your whole team. It is meant for COCUMA companies only and it is our way to educate and connect professionals.
We update content regularly during the whole year
It‘s not our goal to create a profile and charge you once a year, updating the texts from time to time. We want you to have the perfect tool that is functional and up-to-date at your disposal. That‘s why we come to your new offices if you move and take new photos, no matter the time of year. If you hire someone you want to include in your profile, we come and shoot a new video. Of course, this has its limits and we can‘t do it every month but it is important to us that your presentation is always up-to-date, functional and great in all aspects.

It was a matter of prestige for us. If we want to show that humancraft is a good company, it was obvious that we need to be shown at COCUMA.
For me, COCUMA is a platform for humane companies with a friendly environment and high ambitions.
Since the start COCUMA was connected with the word Cocoon in my eyes. You see an image of a tree with nests/cocoons of companies hanging from it, and beautiful butterflies and birds/projects flying out. This symbol makes sense as if you visit COCUMA, you will be astonished by its culture and aesthetics that connects all of us hanging from that tree. And that‘s also what I felt at our last Coco meetup.
Not many people knew of Eyelevel when we were starting our cooperation with COCUMA. This place helped a lot with broadening our reach, our identity and values. Pricing! How much does it all cost?
Transparency everywhere. Discount culture is not our thing.
We wouldn‘t be able to enforce the principle of transparency if we ourselves charged different prices to our customers. That‘s why our price list is available to everyone. We base the prices of individual profile on the amount of work we must put in while creating them. Non-profits are charged at 50 % and we barter every now and then, but really not that much.
